English Grammar Punctuation and Capitalization eBook Girard Sagmiller
English Grammar, according to Girard Sagmiller, © 2011I wonder why I bother with this but since there are people who may (a) want to know something about Standard American English, and (b) be lured by 99 cents worth of self-published grammar text, consider these two bloopers from Sagmiller's 'text':
For some reason I had failed to notice him. (989)
He decided to really read the books he had only skimmed. (989)
The numbers are locators in the Kindle text. Both sentences violate the simple rule that the word 'had' does not belong in front of a past tense verb, EVER. Reasonable people do not take language instruction from 'authors' who can't see dumb mistakes like the two above. Buyer Beware.

English Grammar Punctuation and Capitalization eBook Girard Sagmiller Reviews
To me, as a foreigner student (spanish speaker originally) it is a helpfull tool indeed. Easy to read and plenty of useful examples...and pretty cheap!!!!! Less than a buck. Not for beginners.
A great grammar book. It clarifies many grammar rules that were a bit confusing before. This book is well written. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I have been out of school for many years, and some times I think I have forgoten every thing I ever knew about Gramer and punctuation this book helped remind me. I would recommend this book.
I learned a lot from the English grammar when it came to brushing up on my grammar and punctuation skills.
I learned sentence structure and the different meanings of the same words in this book. I would recommend
this book to all my friends who wants to improve their grammar skills.
Terrible. Don't waste your money. I don't understand why people are rating this 5 stars for kindle. Absolutely no table of contents, so it's difficult to navigate to the subject you want to go to. Your only option is to bookmark each page you want to save, which may take a lot of time. I don't recommend this at all.
I wanted something for my that I could quickly access as an instant tool to help one of my coworkers. Unfortunately, it didn't quite escape the editing errors that the book itself tries to prevent its readers from making.
This is a reference book for those of us who lack confidence in their grammar, punctuation and capitalization. It is a handy reference book, but not that great. I would not have bought it I had taken the time to open it and read part of it. It has good information. It just doesn't have that much information.
